引力波探测--时空震颤的涟漪 The Detection of Gravitational Wave

引力波与黑洞是爱因斯坦广义相对论的重要预言,虽然天文观测积累了它们存在的间接证据,但LIGO首次直接探测到两个黑洞并合产生的引力波GW150914具有划时代的意义!本报告将评述引力波基础和探测历史、本次发现的过程与意义;简介北京师范大学参与引力波研究的情况、展望引力波探测与引力波天文学的未来发展。
Gravitational wave and Black Hole are two significant prediction of Einstein’s General Relativity, before this detection the observations gave us a lot of secondary evidence of the its existence, but the direct detection of GW 150914 came from the merge of black holes is the epoch-making significance. This report will start from the basic knowledge of gravitational waves and the detection history, also will mentioned the procedure and meaning of this new discovery. Then there will be a brief introduction of Beijing Normal University’s participant in the research of gravitational waves, the expectation of detection and the future development of gravitational astronomy.
朱宗宏,生于1965年,教授,博士生导师。毕业于北京师范大学物理学系和天文学系,分别获学士、硕士、博士学位。曾获中国科学院自然科学一等奖和国务院政府特殊津贴,2005年入选教育部新世纪人才,2008年获得国家杰出青年科学基金,2010年起任北京师范大学天文学系主任,2013年当选北京天文学会理事长。主要研究领域:引力波天文学;引力透镜、暗物质与暗能量等宇宙学问题;星系团的X射线观测与理论研究。
Zonghong Zhu, born in 1965, professor and Ph.D supervisor of Beijing Normal University. He got his bachelor and master degree from Physics Department and his Ph.D degree from Astronomy Department of Beijing Normal University. He has the honor to win the first prize of China National Nature Science Foundation which is supported by the Chinese Academy of Science and the Special Government Allowances of the State Council.In 2005, he became the winner of the Education Ministry’s New Century Excellent Talents Supporting Program.Got the fund of National Outstanding Scientific Youth Foundation in 2008. During 2009, he was selected to be the be Education Ministry’s Changjiang Distinguished Professor. From 2010, Professor Zhu took the position as the dean of Astronomy Department, Beijing Normal University. After 2 years, in 2013, he was elected the director-general of Beijing Astronomical Society. Main research field: Gravitational wave astronomy, Gravitational lens, dark matter, dark energy and other research field in cosmology; the observation and theory of cluster of galaxies in X-ray wave band.
