报告摘要:
毫米波具有丰富的频率资源,已逐步应用于高速通信和高精度雷达等领域。但由于硅基工艺本身的限制,采用硅基工艺实现毫米波芯片面临巨大的技术挑战。本报告讨论了硅基毫米波芯片技术的发展以及所面临的技术挑战,介绍了本课题组在解决宽带收发链路、高精度毫米波信号源和相控阵等方面的工作,并简要介绍了本课题组开发的毫米波雷达与通信芯片。
Millimeter-wave has rich frequency resources and has gradually drawn a lot of interests for high-data-rate communication, high-precision radar and others. However, due to the limitations of the silicon-based technology itself, the implementation of silicon-based millimeter-wave chips faces huge technical challenges. This talk discusses the silicon-based millimeter-wave chip circuit techniques as well as the technical challenges, introduces our work in wideband mm-wave circuits, high-performance millimeter-wave sources and phased array chips, and briefly reports the millimeter-wave radar and communication chips developed by our research group.
报告人介绍:
池保勇,1998年07月于北京大学获得学士学位,2003年07月于清华大学获得博士学位,毕业后留校任教至今,并曾在美国斯坦福大学进修一年,研究领域包括硅基射频/毫米波集成电路、模拟集成电路和无线通信/雷达系统芯片。目前担任清华大学集成电路学院教授,副院长,入选国家自然科学基金委优青。授权中国和美国发明专利各30多项和5项。担任 IEEE TCAS-II 客座编辑、A-SSCC TPC 成员和分会主席、中国科学信息科学编委和Microelectronics Journal副主编。作为负责人完成了国家自然科学基金委重大国际合作研究项目、863重点项目课题和国家03重大专项课题,目前担任国家重点研发计划项目“硅基超高速无线通信收发机芯片”首席科学家。研制的毫米波雷达芯片及系统获A-SSCC SDC杰出设计奖。曾经获得霍英东教育基金、清华大学学术新人奖、产学研合作创新奖、中国电子学会优秀科技工作者等奖励。
Baoyong Chi (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in microelectronics from Peking University, Beijing, China, in 1998, and the Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, in 2003. From 2006 to 2007, he was a Visiting Assistant Professor with Stanford University, Stanford, CA, USA. He is currently a Full Professor and the Deputy Director of the School of Integrated Circuits, Tsinghua University. He has authored over 140 academic articles and two books. He holds more than 20 patents. His current research interests include radio frequency (RF)/millimeter-wave integrated circuit design, analog integrated circuit design, and monolithic wireless transceiver chips for radar and communication. Dr. Chi has been a TPC Member of A-SSCC since 2005.
