光电信息大讲堂第九十一讲:氮化物发光材料与固态照明

报告摘要:

        作为第四代固态照明光源,近年来白光LED技术发展迅速,在家庭照明、液晶背光源、汽车前照灯、投影仪等方面具有广阔的应用前景。稀土发光材料作为波长转换材料在白光LED技术中发挥着不可或缺的重要作用,备受学术界和产业界的关注。本文将着重介绍目前最为瞩目的新型氮化物发光材料的设计与发现、合成制备、发光性能和它们在半导体照明中的应用,以及未来的研究思路和方向。 

        Known as the fourth-generation solid state lighting source, white light-emitting diodes (LEDs) have seen a rapid development in recent decades and found broad applications in general illumination, backlighting, headlamps and projectors. Luminescent materials, as the color (or wavelength) converters, play an indispensable role in white LEDs, which thus have received great attentions from both academic and industrial communities. In this talk, we will overview the recent progress of nitride phosphors, including their materials design and discovery, synthesis, optical properties and applications. The challenges and outlooks in this novel type of phosphors are also demonstrated. 

    

报告人介绍:

        解荣军于1998年在中科院上海硅酸盐研究所获得无机非金属材料专业的工学博士学位。在1998-2003年期间作为STA fellow、JST fellow以及德国洪堡学者分别在日本国立材料研究所、日本产业技术综合研究所和德国达姆斯塔特工业大学从事博士后研究工作。2003年4月获得日本国立材料研究所的固定职位,历任主任研究员、首席研究员和主席研究员。2018年1月起全职任厦门大学材料学院中组部“千人计划”特聘教授,担任材料学院副院长。他目前是中国稀土学会发光专业委员会委员,美国陶瓷学会《Journal of the American Ceramics Society》主编和美国电气化学学会发光材料分会秘书。研究领域包括稀土发光功能材料和半导体照明器件等,已在Chem. Rev., Light: Sci. & Appl., Adv. Funct. Mater., Chem. Mater., ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces等期刊发表SCI收录论文约230篇,引用约9500次,H因子46;出版专著 《Nitride Phosphors and Solid-State Lighting》一部;已获日本、美国、中国和韩国专利授权35项;荣获2005和2008年度日本荧光粉奖(分别排名第二和第三)、2007年度日本筑波奖励奖(排名第二)、2011年度日本棚桥奖(排名第二)以及2012年度日本文部省科学大臣授予的科学技术奖(排名第二)。

        Rong-Jun Xie received his D. Engr. in Ceramics the Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1998. During the period of 1998-2003, he was awarded STA Fellow (1998-2000), JST Fellow (2001-2002) and Alexander von Humboldt Fellow (2002-2003) at National Institute of Materials Science (NIMS, Japan), National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST, Japan) and Darmstadt University of Technology (TUD, Germany), respectively. Since 2003, he joined NIMS as a permanent staff, and was promoted to Senior Researcher (2003), Principle Researcher (2007) and Chief Researcher (2014). He moved to Xiamen University as a Distinguished Professor of the Recruitment Program of Global Experts in 2018. He is now the Assistance Dean of the College of Materials at Xiamen University, Editor of Journal of the American Ceramics Society, Division Secretary of the American Electrochemistry Society. His research interests cover the rare earth luminescent materials and solid state lighting. He has published about 230 peer-reviewed papers in leading journals such as Chem. Rev., Light: Sci. & Appl., Adv. Funct. Mater., Chem. Mater., ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces, with the citation of 9500 times and H-index of 46. He also has published one book entitled “Nitride Phosphors and Solid-State Lighting” and chapters in 4 books. He has 35 patents granted by Japan, the United States, China and South Korea. He was the winner of the 2005 and 2008 Japan Phosphor Awards in 2005 and 2008, Tsukuba Encouragement Award of Japan in 2007, the Technical Development Award of The Electrochemical Society of Japan (Tanahashi Award) in 2011and The Prizes for Science and Technology by the Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in 2012.
